Authorities in Arizona identified the victim from a homicide at Katherine's Landing on Lake Mohave nearly 47 years ago.On November 23, 1976, hikers discovered human remains in a shallow cave in an elevated desert area about six miles east of Katherine's Landing, about 100 miles south of Las Vegas. Five children, ages 2 to 13, die in house fire along Arizona-Nevada border, police say

Five children died in a house fire Saturday evening in a city along the Arizona-Nevada border, police said.

Police in Bullhead City, Arizona, said they are investigating a fatal house fire that happened at around 5 p.m. local time Saturday at a two-story duplex. Five children (ages 2, 4, 5, 11 and 13) died as a result of the fire.

Police said there were no adults home at the time of the fire and that there were no survivors.

Phoenix residents should expect cooler temperatures in the morning with possible wind gusts on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service Phoenix.

The National Weather Service in Phoenix predicts partly cloudy conditions on Saturday, with temperatures ranging from 40 to 44 degrees in the low range and 65 to 68 degrees in the high range.

Phoenix residents should expect higher-than-normal temperatures and dry weather this week, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

A hiker was rescued after getting injured and being left behind by other backpackers at Kanab Creek, in the north rim of the Grand Canyon on Friday evening, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue.

PHOENIX − An Arizona firefighter was arrested on Friday in connection with multiple arson events, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.

The YCSO and the Coconino County Sheriff's Office have searched for an arsonist setting fires around the Ash Fork area over the last few months.
